An Under The Radar Layer 2

Introduction

During the bull market Ethereum network got clogged with unbelievable gas fees due to high activity on the chain while it has a very limited throughput. At the same time, Layers 2 technologies were being actively developed to tackle the issue and to offer a fast and reliable network with cheap fees without sacrificing decentralization.

The two technologies behind L2s are already well known and used: Zero Knowledge Rollups and Optimistic Rollups.

ZkSync, StarkNet, Loopring and Immutable X are built on ZK Proofs while Optimism and Arbitrum are built on Optimistic Rollups.

While being popularised by Ethereum ecosystem, the Layer 1 / Layer 2 scaling architecture is also used by other competing networks.

In this article, I would like to highlight one Layer 2 which is currently flying under the radar of Crypto Twitter. The network is already live and much more cheaper than Optimism on a FDV perspective. Last but not least, the token supply is almost fully unlocked.
